Why slow strategy actually fits a phone
Mobile strategy usually means frantic base-builders, so Iron Tide Tactics surprised me by being slow on purpose. It turns out a turn-based game is perfect for a phone precisely because you can stop mid-match.
Each mission teaches one new rule, which keeps the complexity from piling up all at once. I never felt lost, even coming back after a few days away.
The trick with this game is supply lines. Early on you can brute-force wins, but ignore your logistics and the later missions will grind you down. Scout first, commit second.
If you've written off mobile strategy as shallow, this is the one I'd hand you to change your mind.
