Cozy games that don't nag you to come back

I'm tired of farm games that punish you for not logging in. Meadowbrook Days skips the timers entirely, and playing it felt like exhaling.

You plant, fish, and rebuild the valley at your own speed. Nothing wilts because you went to sleep, and that one design choice changes the whole mood of the game.

The crafting runs deeper than it first looks. Chasing a specific recipe gave me long-term goals without any pressure, and the villagers slowly opened up the more I visited.

It's a slow game and proud of it. If you want something to unwind with for twenty minutes before bed, this is a strong pick.
